Ask an R.O.C. consulate or representative office in your home country about customs regulations for visitors to the R.O.C. You should try to bring all of your belongings with you if possible. If sending packages, parcels, or boxes, please mark them: International Student and send them to Feng Chia University Office of International Affairs, 100, Wenhwa Rd, Seatwen, Taichung, Taiwan 40724. You must come to the OIA to obtain your packages, parcels, or boxes once you arrive at Feng Chia.

Once you have a Taiwan residence and address, personal effects and packages under a certain weight may be mailed to you by international parcel post. Consult your local post office for details.

The simplest, but perhaps more costly, way of transporting your goods to Taiwan is through a shipping agent. The shipping agent in your country should have a corresponding agent in the R.O.C., who can check your baggage through customs. Always have the items that you ship insured.

Letters may be sent to you in care of the Feng Chia University Office of International Affairs, 100, Wenhwa Rd, Seatwen, Taichung, Taiwan 40724. However, you must come to the OIA to pick up your letters. We cannot forward them to you.
