In Taiwan
Before you disembark from the aircraft, flight attendants will distribute Disembarkation（E/D form）and Customs Declaration forms. Please complete these forms before reporting to Immigration and Customs. Alternately, you may obtain the forms at passport control counters in the arrivals area after you disembark from the aircraft. An immigration officer will check your passport, visa, departing flight ticket, customs declaration form and disembarkation form（E/D form）. For safekeeping, the E/D Form should be stapled into your passport.
If any information related to the address provided on the E/D form changes after you enter Taiwan, report this to the OIA.

In Taichung
You may take a bus from the CKS Airport to Chaoma, Taichung City and transfer to a taxi to Feng Chia’s main gate. The costs for these two trips are approximately NT$240 and NT$120, respectively.

At Feng Chia
Registration requirements Immediately upon your arrival to the Taichung area, you must report to the OIA. Please bring your passport and visa documents to complete the brief registration process. Students are also required to register at their schools. Scholars should check in with their departments.

"Orientation programs" The OIA organizes a variety of orientation programs during the year. In mid-September, “Getting Started” sessions for newly arriving international students, scholars, and their families are held to provide information about visa and tax regulations, cultural adjustment, local transportation, telephones, banking, postal services, health care, health insurance and Feng Chia resources.

In addition, the OIA organizes a welcoming party and Chinese traditional festival parties to help you get settled. Details will be made available when you register at the OIA.
Most of the colleges at Feng Chia also offer orientation programs for newly arriving students. You will receive more information about these programs from your college.
